Arijit Singh Song Quiz

You hear one second of a real Arijit Singh recording and name it. Land it straight away and the round is worth five points. Miss or skip and the clip grows to two seconds, then four, seven and eleven, worth less every time. Five Arijit Singh tracks per run, roughly two minutes, and the guess box suggests titles as you type so spelling never costs you a round.

Tracks are pulled live from the public catalogue, so the five you get change every run. Expect titles like Tum Hi Ho, Channa Mereya, Kesariya, Raabta, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Each round also starts at a random point in the recording, so Tum Hi Ho opening on a verse and Tum Hi Ho opening on the chorus are two completely different puzzles.

Harder than the mixed bollywood quiz. When every round is Arijit Singh, the genre and era clues you normally lean on in the first second are gone, so you are separating Channa Mereya from Kesariya on texture alone. Most casual listeners need three or four seconds a track; regulars get there in one.

No, but it helps. Knowing Arijit Singh and recognising Arijit Singh in a single second turn out to be very different skills, which is why the first round humbles almost everyone. If it bites, try the wider Bollywood quiz first and come back.
