How to play
One second of a song. Name it. Every miss buys you more audio and costs you points. A run is five songs and about three minutes.
The rules

Hear one second
Each round opens with a single second from a real recording, starting at a random point. That is usually enough if you know the song cold, and nowhere near enough if you do not.

Name it, or buy more
Type the title and pick from the suggestions. Guess wrong or press skip and the clip extends, so you always leave a round knowing more than you did.

Score the gradient
The faster you get it, the more it is worth. Five points at one second down to one point at eleven, and nothing if you never land it.

Build a streak
Finish five songs to complete a run. Play on consecutive days and your streak grows, stored in your own browser with no account.

Where to start
Genres are the gentlest. Single artists are the real test.
A tactic that works
Do not try to name the song on the first second. Try to name the era. Production dates a record faster than melody does, and once you have the decade the catalogue you are searching gets very small. If you still have nothing at four seconds, skip rather than burn an attempt on a guess you do not believe.

Is it free?
Yes, completely. No sign-up, no downloads, no cost. Advertising is what pays for it.
How is my answer checked?
A local matcher runs first and forgives typos, partial titles and bracketed extras like a featured artist. Anything it cannot decide is escalated for a second look, so alternate and translated titles still count.
Does skipping cost me anything?
Only points. A skip uses one of your five attempts and unlocks the next length of audio, exactly like a wrong guess, but without the risk of a typo eating an attempt.
Why did the clip not play?
Mobile browsers block audio that starts on its own. When that happens you will see a prompt to tap play, and every round after that plays normally.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser with sound, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
How is the streak calculated?
Finish a run on consecutive calendar days and it grows; skip a day and it resets to one. It lives in your browser, so clearing site data clears it too.
