About the IVE Song Quiz

IVE favour orchestral samples and a smooth, unhurried delivery, which sets them apart from the harder-hitting groups in this category.

  • LOVE DIVE
  • ELEVEN
  • After LIKE
  • I AM
  • Baddie

Tracks are drawn live from the public catalogue, so the exact set changes every run. Audio clips only. No lyrics are shown, stored or reproduced anywhere on this site.

Questions

How does the IVE Song Quiz work?

You hear one second of a real IVE recording and name it. Land it straight away and the round is worth five points. Miss or skip and the clip grows to two seconds, then four, seven and eleven, worth less every time. Five IVE tracks per run, roughly two minutes, and the guess box suggests titles as you type so spelling never costs you a round.

Which IVE songs come up?

Tracks are pulled live from the public catalogue, so the five you get change every run. Expect titles like LOVE DIVE, ELEVEN, After LIKE, I AM, Baddie. Each round also starts at a random point in the recording, so LOVE DIVE opening on a verse and LOVE DIVE opening on the chorus are two completely different puzzles.

How hard is the IVE quiz?

Harder than the mixed k-pop quiz. When every round is IVE, the genre and era clues you normally lean on in the first second are gone, so you are separating ELEVEN from After LIKE on texture alone. Most casual listeners need three or four seconds a track; regulars get there in one.

Do I need to be a serious IVE fan?

No, but it helps. Knowing IVE and recognising IVE in a single second turn out to be very different skills, which is why the first round humbles almost everyone. If it bites, try the wider K-Pop quiz first and come back.

Is the IVE Song Quiz free?

Yes. No sign-up, no download, no cost. The IVE Song Quiz runs in any browser on phone, tablet or desktop, and you can replay it as many times as you like because the IVE tracks reshuffle each run.
